Zementroute Ennigerloh
Along the cement bike route, history and present of cement mining in Ennigerloh are vivid. Pass by the plant facilities and quarries in the environment of Ennigerloh and discover and learn new things. Sporting activity including cultural programme – the perfect mixture for a nice excursion into the green countryside!
100 Castle Route
The 100 Castles Route is the “queen” among the cycle routes. At a length of 960 km, the 100 Castles Routes leads through the Münsterland, passing by the most beautiful castles and forts of the region. For more information, click here.
The cycle route “Werse”
is 125 km long and runs through the district of Warendorf – sometimes along the river Werse, sometimes a little further back into the landscape which is shaped by it. The route connects the cities Beckum, Ahlen, Drensteinfurt, Sendenhorst, Oelde, Münster, Rheda-Wiedenbrück and Hamm with its historical centres well worth seeing.
Leisure Centre situated at the Tuttenbrocksee in Beckum
The leisure lake Tuttenbrock is well-known as bathing lake with an excellent water quality. For many years, the turquoise water of the old cement mining has enjoyed a great deal of fascination by its guests from all over the world. Located directly on the motorway exit A2, the lake is well accessible and its attractiveness is now raised by the water ski cableway park. Two great opposing 5-mast facilities, a Rixen Master 450 and a practice lift are available for all levels of water ski. Numerous features enrich the sporting possibilities of the Rixen facilities. For all guests who do not get to like this sport, the area offers generous green spaces, a sandy beach and swimming areas.
